Chicken and Lemongrass Potstickers
Classic Asian cuisine, potstickers are one of our favorites. The combination of tender chicken with the citrus overtones of lemongrass and other Asian flavors makes for an intoxicating mix. Serve with extra dipping sauce on the side for a bright, savory bite that always disappears fast. 50 potstickers.
Preparation
Pan Fry: (Use non-stick pans only) Add 1 tablespoon vegetable oil to a 10- inch nonstick skillet; coat evenly. Place dumplings in a single layer, seam-side up and add 1/4 cup water. Cover and cook over medium heat for 8 minutes. Remove lid and continue heating 2 to 5 minutes until water has evaporated and bottoms of dumplings are lightly browned. Do not move dumplings during heating. Serve and enjoy with your favorite dipping sauce.
Boil: Bring 5 cups of water to a boil. Gently add 5-10 frozen dumplings into the pot. Cook for 2-3 minutes or until the dumplings start to float to the surface. Remove dumplings and enjoy with your favorite dipping sauce.
Microwave: (Cooking time may vary depending on your microwave oven.) Place 5 frozen dumplings into a microwavable bowl. Add 1/4 cup of water and cover with a wet paper towel. Microwave on high for 2 to 3 minutes. Remove dish with caution as contents may be very HOT.
