Sweet Corn Hush Puppies
We’ve been searching for these forever. Their satisfying crunch and soft, slightly sweet interior is an irresistible combination. These savory hush puppies feature the goodness of sweet corn and a hint of onion—a true expression of Southern goodness. Three 1 lb. bags, serves 10-12.
Preparation
Bake: Preheat the oven to 425°. Arrange the frozen hush puppies on a baking sheet, and place them on the center rack of the oven. Bake the Sweet Corn Hush Puppies for 14-16 minutes until they reach the desired golden brown color and crispness. For best results, turn the hush puppies over halfway through. Let the gourmet hush puppies cool for three minutes before serving.
Deep Fry: Thaw the frozen Sweet Corn Hush Puppies for 30 minutes. Deep fry them at 350°F for two and half minutes to the desired color and crispness. Let the hush puppies stand for three minutes before serving.
Air Fry: Preheat Air Fryer to 350°F. Place frozen hushpuppies in air fryer basket. Cook for 9-11 minutes or until desired browning occurs. Shake basket halfway through. Let stand 3 minutes before serving.
For Safety and Quality: Carefully follow thawing and cooking instructions. The internal temperature of the gourmet hush puppies should reach 165°F. Refrigerate the leftovers.
