Preparation
Do not microwave.
Defrost in the refrigerator for 24-36 hours. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Remove and discard the labeled outer resealable bag. Do not open or puncture the inner sealed bag before cooking. Place the turkey in bag on a roasting pan or casserole dish, on the center oven rack. Bake for 60 minutes. Remove from the oven and let rest for 10 minutes. Cut open the bag to remove the turkey and gravy and place on serving dish. Contents will be hot.
Homestyle Turkey Gravy:
Stove Top: Place in a medium-sized sauce pot over medium heat, stirring every 2 to 3 minutes until the temperature reaches at least 165 degrees F. Refrigerate unused portions within 2 hours.
Microwave:
Cooking time may vary with microwave wattage. Place in a microwave-safe container, cover with plastic wrap, and heat on High, stirring every 2 to 3 minutes until the temperature reaches at least 165 degrees F. Refrigerate unused portions within 2 hours.
