Preparation
Thaw turkey in the refrigerator in its original packaging for 2-3 days ahead of cooking.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Remove the turkey from the outer bag and place in a baking dish with all the juices. Cover completely with aluminum foil and bake for 75-90 minutes or until the drumstick reaches 155 degrees F. If you like crispy skin, broil at the end for 5 minutes.
Cooking Tip: Add root vegetables, herbs and broth to the pan and baste the turkey with the pan liquids every 20 minutes.
