Ham with Pineapple and Cloves

Beautiful on the table and simple to make. We love how the rich smoky flavor of our Harrington’s Ready-to-cook Dinner Ham blends with the sweet and savory mix of pineapple and cloves.

  • 1 Ready-to-cook Dinner Ham
  • ½ cup of whole cloves
  • 8-10 rings of canned pineapple, thin sliced, (reserve juice).
  • 1 small jar of maraschino cherries
  • ½ cup pure Vermont Maple Syrup

Bring your ham to room temperature and pre-heat your oven to 325°F. Place ham in a roasting pan. Arrange the sliced pineapple over the outside of the ham and hold it in place with the cloves, 4 per slice should do it. Using a toothpick, pin a maraschino cherry in the center of each pineapple ring. Glaze the ham with the maple syrup and some of the reserved pineapple juice. Bake for 20 min. per pound or until internal temperature reaches 155°F. Baste occasionally with pan juices during cooking. Remove toothpicks before serving.
